Gold Coast believes that every person with Down syndrome has the right to live, learn, work and play in their community. Our programs focus on overcoming barriers that prevent children and adults with Down syndrome from being successful. 

CHILDREN

We place great emphasis on learning, because a good education is the foundation for future success in life for all children.

Best Start is there for new parents right from the beginning with information and support

The Learning Program teaches you how to be a great parent educator and helps your children work on their reading, math, and life skills

 The Exceptional Educators Program teaches your classroom teachers, paras, school administrators and district staff how to have more success when working with your children.

Educational Advocacy provides you with a free advocate who will help you navigate IEPS, classroom placements more so that your children are in their best learning environment.

Smart Start and School Rules! give you knowledge about what happens when your children enter pre-school and kindergarten.

ADULT ENRICHMENT

For adults, our programs place emphasis on continuing education and high expectations by providing Adult Enrichment activities that develop social skills, literacy and an understanding of self-advocacy including:
