Our mission is simple... to assist and support, through
fellowship and action, the fathers and families of
individuals with Down Syndrome

The Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization chapter of D.A.D.S. meets monthly throughout the year. Meetings feature discussion about a myriad of topics related to raising our children who have Down syndrome...and the benefits drawn from "hanging out" with a room full of fathers experiencing the same exact issues as you!

On Thursday, January 26, 2012 nineteen dads gathered at The Olive Garden in Lake Worth to hear Joe Meares of National D.A.D.S. present on his vision and mission for the D.A.D.S. organization. It was a great meeting and our local dads left re-energized and ready to make a difference in the lives of individuals who have Down syndrome! Thanks Joe!

The kick-off meeting of the first south Florida chapter of D.A.D.S. was held on Thursday, January 14, 2010.  Ten dads attended and a good time was had by all.
