There are many opportunities for recreation and exercise in our community for children and adults with Down syndrome and other related disabilities. - AccesSportAmerica - a national non-profit organization founded in 1995, inspires higher function and fitness for children and adults of all disabilities through high-challenge sports. Inclusive water sports such as kayaking, wind surfing, etc. Contact 978-264-0985.

- Friday Night Club and Friday Night Live Social Opportunity for Adults - Boca Raton YMCA
- Check out the municipality where you live. Most of the cities in Palm Beach County have their own Parks and Recreation departments that host full schedules of sports/leisure activities for all ages. Individuals with Down syndrome should be welcome and accommodated in these programs. For example, there is a karate program at the Greenacres Community Center that comes recommended by one of our families.
