Are you pregnant? Did you have a screening test and the results showed that you may be expecting a baby with Down syndrome? Did you have a diagnostic test and the results show you are expecting a baby with Down syndrome? The information found at this link may be helpful to you and your family.
If your child with Down syndrome is at least 3 years old and you have not yet signed on to the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) Medicaid Waiver (aka MedWaiver) waiting list, please do so now. This is an important funding stream for support services, some before age 21 and many upon aging out of the school system. You can do this by calling 561-837-5564 for eligibility information. A child with Down syndrome is “automatically” eligible. For more information go to the APD website.
